What Car Maintenance Should I Be Doing, and How Often?

At McCormick’s, we always recommend staying proactive with your vehicle through regular preventative maintenance. Routine maintenance helps keep your car running efficiently, improves reliability, and can help prevent costly repairs down the road.

Our team of ASE Certified Technicians uses the latest diagnostic tools and technology to properly inspect, service, repair, and maintain your vehicle, so you can drive with confidence.

What Is Preventative Maintenance?

Preventative maintenance means regularly inspecting and servicing your vehicle to help identify small issues before they turn into larger problems. Staying on top of maintenance can improve your vehicle’s performance, safety, fuel efficiency, and lifespan—while potentially saving you money over time.

To help catch potential issues early, our experienced technicians perform a free digital safety inspection on every vehicle that comes into our shop. This inspection gives you a clear understanding of:

  • Your vehicle’s current condition
  • Any maintenance or repairs we recommend now
  • Services you may need in the future

We believe in helping you make informed decisions about your vehicle with honest recommendations and transparent communication every step of the way.

Why Regular Vehicle Maintenance Matters

Keeping up with routine vehicle maintenance is one of the best ways to protect your investment and avoid unexpected breakdowns. Services like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, and battery testing all play an important role in keeping your vehicle running safely and efficiently.

At McCormick’s, we take a proactive approach to vehicle care. Our ASE Certified Technicians use advanced diagnostic tools and thorough inspections to help identify issues early, before they become more serious and expensive repairs.

Whether you’re staying on top of factory-recommended maintenance or preparing for seasonal driving conditions, our team is here to help keep your vehicle reliable for the road ahead.
